Manufacturing is done in Switzerland, Italy, and France, but service and special project design is handled through our US-headquarters. We are located in Rome, GA, where this position is based. Sales of our products are done through a combination of direct-selling approach from regional sales engineers, and through relationships with representatives and distributors.

The MACHINING Division is looking for the following Full-Time position:

Repair Service Supervisor [Full-Time]

About the Job:

The Repair Service Supervisor is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing the evaluation, repair, and assembly of mechanical components. Work includes but is not limited to disassembling/reassembling, cleaning, repair, and testing of mechanical equipment. In addition to repair responsibilities, this person will oversee new spindle assembly, as well as packing, shipping, and receiving.

Position Type/Compensation/Hours:

  • $48k-$54k/year (based upon experience)
  • Full time/Salary non-exempt/Bi-weekly pay
  • Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch)

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, willing to learn, able to multi-task, prioritize, and plan. Applicant must be comfortable in a mechanical repair atmosphere speaking with technical personnel and able to anticipate service needs. Occasional field service and customer repair visits will be required. 

Job Requirements:

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a strong leader.
  • Technical and mechanical ability (hands-on) with good troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical measurement tools.
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings (metric & imperial).
  • Basic computer skills (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, assemble, and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Wash, clean, and paint parts as needed.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as needed (packing, shipping, inventory).
  • Maintain neat and organized work area & comply with company procedures.
  • Supervise service technicians, plan, and coordinate workload and time off.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Climate-controlled warehouse.
  • Exposed to fumes while washing, painting, and cleaning.
  • The employee is regular required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and walk.
  • Must be able to stand at work bench for extended periods and able to lift up to 50lbs.
