The COMPONENTS Division is looking for the following Full-Time position:
Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician [Full-Time]
About the Job:
The Quality Assurance Inspector/Technician ensures company and customer quality standards, specifications, and policies are compliant. They inspect and test products, take measurements, and record and communicate results during and after product release. 
Position Type/Compensation/Hours:
  • $15-$20/hour 
  • Full time/Hourly/Weekly pay
  • Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)

Job Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in manufacturing preferred
  • 2+ years working in Quality Control
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand work instructions and other job-related documents.
  • Ability to perform basic math operations and conversions with and without a calculator. 
  • Ability to accurately use and read micrometers, calipers, scales, and measuring tapes
Responsibilities
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality for product
  • Inspects product to verify production requirements are met and make changes if necessary
  • Effectively manages and assigns labor to complete production schedules as efficiently as possible
  • Directly supervises employees.
  • Coaches and teaches employees on all aspects of their jobs including GMPs, work documentation and safety
  • Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Enforces company policies and procedures and enforces safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
  • Maintains time and production records
  • Ensures employees are following operating procedures (SOPs) policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems, or assists employees in solving work problems
  • Assists Production Manager in completion of department’s Performance Evaluation
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Training Employees
  • Any other duties as assignment by management

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Climate-controlled facility.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee is regular required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and walk.
  • Employee must be able to withstand standing 4 hours without resting and lift at least 30lbs.
